can't connect after kismet and aircrack

after using these 2 apps without much gain or learnig something new, when i check the available connections the only available are my adhoc and not any wlan although my computer detect alot of wireless connections.
kismet requires closing by ctrl+q and not the X and thats what i did,,and for aircrack i just closed xterm and restarted my phone but still have the same problem..how can i fix that ? thanks

I recall reading somewhere you need to reboot to resolve this one, though technically I can't see why ifconfig wlan0 down followed by removing the network module wouldn't do the job just as well.

wait, you're saying it's still not working after a reboot? try typing iwconfig as root, maybe some clue there.

Did you put wlan0 back to Managed mode?

Re: can't connect after kismet and aircrack

kismet is supposed to back the wireless interface to managed mode if closed properly

As said in
http://david.gnedt.eu/blog/2010/05/1...-for-the-n900/
To close Kismet use the Quit menu entry or press Ctrl+C. (Don't use the X button as it wouldn't restore the network managers function)
