Xbox+TV with no input slots=fail
I have a Xbox. I have an old TV. I would like to play Xbox on this TV. But, this TV does not have the yellow, white, and red slots that are necessary. Any way to play without buying a new TV?

Do you have any other old equpment lying around? A VCR perhaps? If so, it should be able to take composite RCA in (the red, white and yellow plugs), and output via coax on channel 2, 3 or 4. The old RF modulator trick. If your TV is really old, you also might need a 75 ohm coax-to-wire transformer.
So: Xbox -> VCR -> TV |

Why not just buy another TV? Good God, man, it's 2011--a TV should be in EVERY room by now... even a few closets, just to be sure.

Hey, I have an old 13-inch TV with no A/V ports either. It's also not cable-ready. I've used a VCR which has inputs and is cable-ready, no problems at all. I played many years of NES and Sega Genesis games on it when I was younger. :)
