Hi all

After I installed the most recent multiboot kernel power 47 and when i select the 47 kernel item from the multiboot menu to boot into maemo, i am getting the following message:

can't flash kernel, required files not found Guru Meditation #00000025.62017712

how can i rectify this please?

download the power kernel bootimg

yeah this solved the issue:

root
apt-get update
apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg

guys you should really read the first post in announcement thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=71879 there is information that to install multiboot support you need to install additional package (you don't need to open terminal for it, it's also visible in app manager ;) )

the problem is still der.i did all these steps and it worked.i could boot into maemo.den i multibooted to nitdroid.that wrked as well.den i booted bak to power 47.damn.same problem.guru meditation.wat to do?

No help at all but the geek in me does like the fact that Guru Meditation has made its way over from the Amiga 500 to the N900...

i always reflash and start a fresh install if any errors. Kernel 47 has been a problem working with nitdroid for me. The phone never boots and stays on yellow light with kernel 47 so have to reflash. Works fine with kernel 46 though :)

but i did use kernel 47 and had nitdroid.i dint face ny problem den:S..plz help

hello ,

I installed nitdroid on my nokia n900 and it says cant flash kernel what to do and plz tell me what tools i need to active my device.... when i attch to my computer same problem i can't access any OS nor maemo neither nitdroid .... plz help
