Screencast on the N9/N950?
Is it possible to make a screencast on Harmattan?
|
Re: Screencast on the N9/N950?
Yep. There are several screen shot applications on the Ovi Store. I use a free one called screenshotme, which is engaged by opening and then minimizing the application. Then to take a pic, simply cover the proximity sensor for a second and you are presented with the image and the ability to rotate and save the image.

I think I saw somewhere some gstreamer commands with the screen as input, so I should be possible.
Sadly, I don't remeber where or what, sorry. |

Well there's this gstreamer screencasting option:

Screen Recorder
Hey, is there any Screen Recorder app for Harmattan? Video recording, not screen capturing. If so, what's the best one? Thanks. I have tried looking around but didn't find one..

Re: Screencast on the N9/N950?
Well one solution to get a screencast (not on the device) could be to capture the VNC session on your pc using vnc2flv.
For an other solution this could be of your interest: http://forum.meego.com/showthread.php?t=4833 |

Re: Screencast on the N9/N950?
One option is the TV out and a capture device like the HD PVR.
