Unable to connect to FB & Gmail on N9
 

Hi guys! I bought my Nokia N9 last week and i'm new to MEEGO. Updated the firmware to PR 1.1 and when i try to login to fb & gmail it says "Can't Connect To Fb/Gmail"



Please help me..

Before the update was Fb/Gmail connection working?

try deleting the accounts, reboot and then create the accounts again.

Nope i did not and updated the firmware first.

I didn't have a chance to create an account coz it's rejecting. What might be the issue?

This may be related to the issue many people are experiencing with Google Talk and Facebook accounts not connecting/disconnecting/getting 'Wrong password' error. There are several threads about this.

But what you experience seems slightly different in that you cannot even create the accounts in the first place. However that it happened upon installing PR1.1 seems significant.

I would try resetting the device (Settings > Reset > Restore settings), reboot, and try again. Make sure you are starting from a clean slate with NO existing accounts. 'Restore settings' does not actually delete or change many of your user settings or configurations; I have found it to be very safe.

I have restored the device twice with Factory settings but still I'm unable to connect. I restored after updating PR 1.1

Your issue sounds slightly different, but the underlying cause may be similar.
