GPE 2.8 Where to download?

Hi all!

I ran into this http://www.linuxtogo.org/gpe-2-8-is-released and it says that gpe-timesheet, gpe-filemanager, gpe-calendar and Starling are available for the N800.
As GPE repository i have http://downloads.kernelconcepts.de/maemo3 bora free and i don't see these apps.

Am i using the wrong repository?

Ton.

Sorry for hi-jacking your thread a bit.
I saw that gpe 2.8 was released to and found this:
http://gpe.linuxtogo.org/download/releases/2.8/

Does anybody know if it's possible to get any of the other gpe components working on the N800?
I'm verry currious about gpe-irc and gpe-gallery.

I think you're looking for this : http://maemo.o-hand.com/

... and the files are there : http://maemo.o-hand.com/packages/bora/

I tried to install them but there is a package conflict (evolution-data-server).
Maybe it works on scratchbox, I'll try soon.

EDIT : It's working under scratchbox ! :)

EDIT2 : Sorry, it's not GPE, it's an other PIM called Poky/Pimlico !
For GPE 2.8 you'll have to wait for kernelconcepts guys to compile deb files or you could try yourself from the tar files if you know how.

It's on Cobb, but the repository doesn't work... claims to get a 404 on a file that is CLEARLY there and working.

Nevermind, my bad. It's working. Get it from Cobb everyone! ;)

Ah, and is this a "better" repository than the kernelconcepts one? What are the differences? Why are there two GPE repositories and why are there two versions of GPE and therefor of GPESummary?

There is no 'better' repository : each one compile gpe when they have time.
You could have both repository ; apt is smart : it gets only the more recent one !
For now Cobb has compiled the last gpe, see instructions for repo :
http://www.cobb.uk.net/770/

But I have a problem upgrading gpe-calendar & gpe-contacts : there is a package dependancy error (libgpevtype0). gpe-todo/filemanager/timesheet are OK.

So, just for my understanding, why is it that GPE Summary is different for Cobb and Kernelconcepts?

Starling has support for Last.FM... however closing it does NOT stop the music. I had to reboot to stop it from playing my playlist infinitely.

Thanks but even with all repo there's a conflict... only with todo and calendar.
Maybe I need to remove them before installing these ones. (I don't want to loose my data !)
