|
Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki

Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
You can use ssu re and version --dup.
Version number is 2.1.4.12 |
Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
There are numerous mentions of device name l500d.
Could this be an unreleased device? When googling it I only find lowend Toshiba laptops. |

What are the implications of the PackageKit upgrade? Is Warehouse no longer working after the new update?
I'm referring to this excerpt from the community metting this month. Quote:

Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
Just updated my Xperia X (official) with this. jolla-camera autofocus now works reliably, and I can set ISO to 800. HUGELY improved.
Edit: However, lipstick seems to have had some regressions introduced. It now lags noticeably. I also have some increased battery drain over 2.1.3.7 with regard to bluetooth devices (specifically, rockpool with original Pebble Steel). I will investigate further and report back. |
Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
@deprecated: Can you check warehouse functionality, that would be a no go for any updates, if it doesn't work, at least for me.

Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
Long press camera button to launch camera app. Xperia x features.

I know it's EA and all, but it sucks that these fixes come at the expense of warehouse (so far) and some obvious UX lags, as well as battery drain. We'll get it all figured out, naturally. |

Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
Never used warehouse myself, but using and adding merproject repos never fails :)
Warehouse have a history of other bad crap (I know, as my packages were blamed for some of them), it needs a good re-do honestly. And Custodian seems not so active unfortunately |

Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
storeman launches for me (after installing the version from the link with --nodeps), and installing/uninstalling seems to work (tested on my tablet)

tbh if this pushes people towards build.merproject.org then that is a good thing |
Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
Storeman works, installing some stuff works as expected, but I'm getting curl errors for many things (quickddit as example).

Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
I keep getting the annoying system update notification for 2.1.3.7 after updating to 2.1.4.12, and the whole system feels sluggish. I might try a fresh flash/reinstall 2.1.4.12.

all is super nice on my side. Only -> No changes in webview stuttering scroll though. Maybe doing the update again is worth trying before reflash. |
Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
Also, I just noticed that all six CPU cores are enabled when reviewing AIDA64. They cycle up and down, all of them. Previously there were only four enabled.

Also noticed all 6 cores are active when observing aida.
Thanks for confirmation, i thought i'd better hold that info back until someone more competent reports this as change as i had not actually observed aida on 2.1.3 to see 2 cores not running :D |
Re: 2.1.4 EA / Lapuanjoki
i am confused @mosen my AIDA only show me 4 cores active. ? any screenshot? what version SFOS are you using? I am on 2.1.4.12
