The next release of the Qt5 tool-kit might introduce a potentially controversial module to facilitate anonymous data collection of Qt applications. we all knew this was coming. after this J*lla must open source it's code to prove there is nothing fishy :D |

But this doesn't exactly surprise. Qt have been dancing the tightrope between FOSS and being commercial from their very beginning. I wonder if SailfishOS have ever made statements about "this sort of problems" with Qt? Or KDE folks, what do they have to say about either of those news items? |
