N810 Links
In an effort to make it a little easier to get information on the device, I thought a thread dedicated solely to links would be a useful tool; especially for those that don't have the time to sift through the growing number of threads.
I'll start. Here's a link of a papervision3D (3D in flash9) comparing the size of an N810, an iPhone, a BlackBerry of some sort, and the ubiquitous Bicycle playing cards. Simply drag the mouse around to see the 'devices' from different angles. This was inspired by the site sizeasy.com but is more versatile. Take a look: http://johndyer.name/lab/pv3d/sizer/ I wonder how well this (and papervision3D) run on the N8xx Internet Tablets? Enjoy and contribute! The sea is a capricious mistress.... }:^)~ YARR!! Re: N810 Links
Thoughtfix has been kind enough to post an updated video of flash video performance in youtube on his blog at tabletblog.com. This video shows the "feist 1 2 3 4" apple ad, consisting of tens of choreographed dancers and a very active camera. Suffice to say that the performance is quite good especially considering it has been taken through the youtube ringer twice before hitting the backs of your eyes.
Feist said eyes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vENl3...abletblog.com/ There were also four exported text files on tabletblog.com with various linux system information. n810 dmesg.txt n810 cpuinfo.txt n810 meminfo.txt n810 uname -a Thanks Thoughtfix. I eagerly wait for more! The squall has passed. }:^)~ YARR!! Corrupt |

Here's a brief wired preview of the N810. There are a couple of nice pictures, but scant on new information. They command all of us to 'check back' for an upcoming review. Keep your eye on this one!

@Glenn7500
Great video! It was nice to see a high-definition (relatively at least) video of the N810. I've been a long admirer of the N800 and now am salivating over the N810. I've never had the chance to see one in front of me, so this is the next best thing. Thanks! And thanks to Thoughtfix for the vid! Keep'em coming.. }:^)~ YARR!! The People's Captain |

Re: N810 Links

Originally from Gizmodo: Sandisk ships 8GB micro SDHC. The suggested retail is $140. Though the price is high, it's good news for N810 users, who can use micro SD, mini SD, but nothing larger. Here's to hoping someone jams two of these chips into a single mini SD body. I can live with 8GB, but much more comfortably with 16. }:^)~ YARR!! Capt'n Corrupt'n |
Re: N810 Links
In similar news to above, Toshiba announced 8GB and 16GB microSD cards set to hit the market any day now.
Jump to an article: http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/33506/135/ Here's to hoping someone jams two of these chips into a single mini SD body. I apologize for the mis-representation of information, and will be more careful to to check sources thoroughly prior to posting. tisk, tisk, tisk, tgdaily..... }:^)~ YARR!! Capt'n O'Corrupt |

For those needing a little more storage on the N810, you're in luck. The long promised microSD's from sandisk have officially shipped and will only cost ~$139 at the register. Engadget has the full scoop, so jump to the article:
Sandisk starts shipping 8gb microSDHC and m2 cards This is sure to alleviate some of the pressure of a single expansion card port, especially if one carries multiple cards about. }:^)~ YARR!! First Mate Corrupt |

Re: N810 Links
I'm in the GTA! I'm not sure about the shipping charges, but I think ~$40 would probably be right. Not cheap, but like buying the unit tax free. Of course, I could be wrong.
