Weatherbug

I use Weatherbug on my pc to keep abreast of ever changing FL weather conditions. I would love to use it on here, but I am SO not a programmer. Could someone please look at the product availible on Weatherbug.com and let me know if porting is possible

I'm waiting for my n810 to arrive and I love weatherbug too. It would seem like the the weatherbug widget would be quick and dirty way of accessing weatherbug on the n810.

This could be a great application for the IT. I too, live in central florida.
I got out my laptop last night when the weatherman was talking about the chance of tornados. I usually use weather.com to keep track of the storms.

While on the search for a more elegant solution, you can get an rss feed for Orlando from weather.com. Also wftv.com has a free phone alert which is good but bothersome. It went off four times last night when our actual threat wasn't until 7 am.

There's already an awesome little applet called OMWeather (Other maemo weather) that shows weather icons & temps, then more details (humidity, wind speed/direction, sunrise/sunset & moon phase) when you tap on it :D Works great on my N810!

I use this myself. I wish it was a little more polished, but it does the job. It works on all the recent OS releases, including OS2008. You can get it from the maeomo Garage page.

Does it show current conditions when you select it for the first icon?

It does not for any of the locations listed in my area. I am wondering if this location dependent or if it is just not yet implemented in the program.

Well it does for me and I'm in (rural?) northwest Montana. Maybe trying changing the # of icons or the column/row layout to jog it? Just a thought.

Yes the first icon is current conditions & it works for my small hometown in Kansas. It doesn't change even with 6 icons in rows or columns single or double. When I tap on the applet my current conditions are 1st on that list too (although only day & night are listed).

Mine never seems to update current weather conditions either. The other info works well, but not current conditions.

My desire for weatherbug comes from its great and up to the minute maps that are availible.

I just found that if you tap and icon, it brings up a detailed info windos with a 'settings' tab. If you click settings, another window opens which has 'update' tab, where you can specify how often it should update the weather data. You can have it update every 5 min too!
But i find that the data is incorrect by about 2 degrees. The data on weather dot com is much closer to what it reads on my thermometer.
