Re: installation problem in os 2008
i don't understand... why isn't the latest system compatible with previous softwares? windows vista supports most of the softwares from windows xp, which makes it easier to use. everytime new system comes out, new software has to be developped, isn't it a great waste of time and resource?

Re: installation problem in os 2008
ehe12, you can't possibly compare the Windows world with the maemo world. Maemo has nowhere near the adoption, usage or third party support-- yet.

Re: installation problem in os 2008
The software on your computer is apparently interfering with your ability to do the update. We don't know what software is on your computer, so we can't help terribly much, or I can't, anyhow. Perhaps you have an anti-virus program that is not allowing the update to take place?
If you don't know how to fix this, maybe you could temporarily get rid of the anti-virus software and see if the problem still exists. Or whoever installed the anti-virus software should know enough to help you. |
