Outlook Web Access - Slow Typing on N810

I frequently visit my company Outlook Web Access site to keep up on emails from home. Whenever I type a new email or reply, however, the tablet cannot keep up with my typing. I'm definitely not typing that fast, and sites like this one are just fine.

Anyone else have this problem, or any reccommendations?

Same here, and I have tried a few different OWAs. The same game everywhere.

Oh well, I guess I wanted to hear that, but at the same time I didn't :)

Thanks!

I had the same issue until I turned off text prediction in the control panel on my tablet. Now typing doesn't lag...

can you turn that off per webpage, or just all or nothing, cause I like it at other sites?

I have predictive text turned off and I still have the lag.

Don't you just wish there was a mail app to actually get to your MS exchange server mail properly using the OWA settings just like you can do for outlook on a non work (or VPN) pc. That would be ace in two ways. 1, no lag... 2, offline access.

Yeah, I was actually thinking of writing something to screen-scrape the OWA site since my work does not allow us to use ActiveSync devices... but to be honest, I've been tinkering with my iPod touch more than the N810 lately...

No problem here with the onscreen kbd, maybe you're typing with an USB computer keyboard ?

USB keyboard or Bluetooth keyboard or N810's hardware one?
Does this lag also happen in other apps (e.g. typing fast in Notes), or only in the browser? Never used OWA but if the site is full of scripts it could also make the browser quite slow.

I think it is related to the amount of HTML loaded into the control. If I create empty message or replying to the short one, the speed is fine. But if I am replying to the large thread, it becomes unusable.

I am having the same symptoms. I'm guessing that the amount of data in the text box just overwhelms the tablet. It's not just with Outlook, but happens anywhere I reply to a really long post with a lot of quoted text, or if I am composing a really long post myself.
