Motorola V3xx
Cheap, stable and with fast 3g connection...good companion for my N800.

W810, after I modded it, it's fun.

This thread is very similar to the one asking about NIT tethering info. You might want to go there for a bigger 'database' of answers.

A: I currently use the iPhone. I also have Treo 680 (about to be sold off), Nokia N95 (3g tethering) and a cheapo samsung phone.

Use Nokia 6120C, however plan to use OpenMoko when it becomes more stable.

3-skypephone - love it, except for the battery life! :)

Had a modded K800i before that, and a modded W810i - loved the cam on the K800, preferred the W810 for size and battery life though.

Re: Which kind of mobie are you using now?

Nokia 6110 Navigator. It's the perfect companion for the tablet because with HSDPA it offers the highest speed currently available in my country and acts as a bluetooth GPS-device (essential for the 770/N800, still nice to have for the N810 because of AGPS.)
It was cheap, too: € 17,- isn't too much (no new contract, but subsidised via loyalty bonus points plus 12month data plan for €5,-/month)

Firmware is full of annoying little bugs, though, and I don't see any activity on Nokia's side to get it fixed. Pity.

A Motorola L7, with 3 battries, my n800 also has 3 batteries. :) Last me more than two days without charging. :)

A search of the forum with NIT+ tethering+ info+ does not show any good threads.
What is the thread you are talking about? Do you have a link?
