anybody know how to set yahoo email account on my n810, what i should fill in name, user name, and income and outcome address,thanks

unless you pay for the yahoo plus there is no POP or IMAP access

nope , the basic free yahoomail doesnt provide POP access...however , Gmail does offer it for free , so you might consider switching , there are a few other decent free POP email providers... i use lavabit.com

Gmail

Incoming: pop.gmail.com

Outgoing: smtp.gmail.com

Username: entire gmail address

Password: your password

Both incoming and outgoing require SSL to be checked , Outgoing requires login authentication. i think thats it , check help on gmail.coms page in case i forgot anything. if you use the modest email client it fills in all the appropriate settings for you and all you have to do is enter your username and password and such

I actually have the yahoo plus account, but doesn't work either. I have tried to configure the email client with the new diablo update, but I get invalid email password errors.

Of course, before setting up your n810 for gmail, your need to have created a google email account.

l use gmail and yahoo as my mail provider here is my settings for pop on my tablet free yahoomail.
username@yahoo.co.uk
username
password

incoming ; pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
out going ; smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk
port for pop 110
outgoing SSL port 465
i send and recieve my mails allright no problems so far,
this settings were done with the account settings wizard.

Just use your browser for Yahoo Mail. It works fine.
