Iphone style for Nokia n810 - Maemo
 

Hello.
I'd like to make the nokia n810's UI like the ui of the iphone. There are lots of skin and softwares for Windows Mobile, but for Maemo I didn't find many applications. I found only "I Tablet", but I think it doens't work with Nokia N810 OS 2008...
What is possible to do for making an iphone style ui for maemo (the schortcuts on the desktop, the system "slide to unlock", the special scrolling of the list of contact / song, ...)?

well, not realy. I am sitting on a new kind of operating system that will have that and much more. My only problem is that i want the main part of it to be a PIM for contacts and calendar but the google API is not as far as i would like to have it :)

Nevertheless: only a question of time :)

I think you want to try canola if you want an iphone type experience.

When I'm feeling like I need to get iZen I'll put on a turtle neck sweater and dark jeans, turn my N800 sideways, and stroke it gently while listening to podcasts from god.


Until last year I wasn't even sure what an iPod was. I wasn't cool.

oh yeah, Canola is bit more iPhonish.

iTablet works with all versions of the OS that have Python, I believe.

I think nokia n810 is really better than an iphone (for the features i want it's better!), so, the only thing i really like of the iphone is the UI. I'd like to make something like this in my nokia n810...

i Tablet does work with os2008.
i had installed it on my wife's N800 and she promptly asked me to take it off once she took a look.
