Download fails.. need help (N810)
 

downloading application was working perfect in the beginning~
now.. i got a problem downloading applications.. i tried different applications.. to make use it wasnt the app the problem..
it loads for a while and then.. tells me it fails..
what should i do?

oh~ and i uninstall map applications when i first got my n810..
now i want it back.. where can i download it? and where can i get argentina map? (im from argentinaa)

plezz need help~ >_<;; (sorry for my bad english)

Map application is in repositories and maps can be downloaded using the map application or http://www.navicoretech.com/Consumer...GB/wfnavigator and moved to tablet but I don't think there is an argentina one.

What version is or OS Chinook or Diablo? Are you having any other problems?

i have the stantard one.. i havent downloaded diablo.. i dont really get what diable is for..
so.. it's OS08 right?

Diablo is just an update to os2008 like you get service packs with windows every so often that fixes things that should have been fixed to start with : )

You might give MaemoMapper a try. Google maps are blank, but VirtualEarth maps (maps.live.com) seem to have some roads and cities drawn in Argentina...

ok! ;) but.. what about my main problem.. i cant download any applications.. games.. wherever.. T.T
everytime i try to downlaod.. it fails.. or says that it contains some thing that might cause harm to the device and cancels the download..
is there any solution for this? i got OS2008 if that helps..

Your downloads could be aborting because you don't have enough space where you are downloading. You are going to need an sdhc card anyway, if you don't have one.

Look in Control Panel at Memory to see how much space you have.

The dire warnings pop up whenever you are installing things that Nokia has not created and signed off on. So depending on how much you trust where you downloaded the application from that you are installing, you can safely ignore that warning and press OK. If you do cancel that warning, the installation won't proceed.

Sometimes downloads will fail if you have already filled up the space where you are trying to download to. So you might want to check the available space on the built in memory or the card you are downloading stuff to.

As I write this, you will only have maps for Buenos Aires and some big avenues/routes with Maemo Mapper or Roadmap using Open Street Map repository. The rest of the country seems to be a huge desert.

I still hope Google Maps will add Argentina soon.

oh.. i see..
i dont understand much about maemo mapper or roadmap using open street map..
can u explain it to me step by step and telling me exactly where to get the downloads..? :) thanks ~
