anti glare films on N800

Anyone know if those anti-glare films they sell for iPods will actually make the N800 usable in bright sunlight?

I've got one of those. It's a huge improvement over the naked screen, in sunlight.

I use a Boxwave antiglare screenprotector on mine, supposedly one of the better ones. The problem with the n800 isn't just glare, it is the lack of transflective screen that makes them hardly readable outside, and a screenprotector won't help much with that.

I'm rocking a boxwave anti-glare too. It helps a lot outside, but it's only changed from "impossible" to "difficult" when the sun's bright.

Oh, and the ones they sell for iPods? Those might help read what's in that corner of the screen, but I like mine, designed for the N800, so I can read the whole screen. :p

hey for the ClearTouch-Anti-Glare, do you notice any change to the clarity of the screen? I have the ClearTouch-crystal one~ and im thinking of getting a new one because mine keeps getting air bubbles and a lot of dust stuck inside... i think i messed it up when i was trying to install it the first few times =\

That's the one downside to any screen protector. The display is slightly diffused.

I've heard that applying the screen protector in a steamy bathroom helps keep the dust down.

I'm still on my first screen protector, after nearly a year. It has a couple scratches and a crimp. But, it's not bad enough to warrant replacing, yet.

I can highly recommend those that brando sells:

I see there is only N770 or N810 - I assume N800 and N810 share the same screen?

Slightly off-topic but still related, I've found that the ClearTouch screen protectors work very well without adding any visible diffusion/light loss. Same durability and quality as the anit-glare ones, but when applied properly are extremely difficult to see/notice any kind of difference. (I did a side by side with my N800 and a friend's, with the cleartouch I'd just applied to mine and my friend's without a screen protector and there was no visible difference in clarity or brightness). So much so that I've stared carrying them along with my other tablet stuff on my site as I think they're an awesome investment:

Isn't the n810 screen a slightly different size to the n800? Is the 770 the same size as the N800?
