Whats your Alarm Sound?

I have a daily alarm that uses Tone2 for my wake up.

I like Tone2 because it sort of gains volume as time goes on because if I don't get out of bed it gets loud enough to enrage me. I do wish it would repeat or something if I don't get up one it completes.

Any suggestions for other alarms? What do you use? I'd consider music but I'd rather just go for some type of generic tones that are ear pleasing.

I use the mp3 of 'I love Hawaii' sung by Hawaiian artist Danny Couch. We spent our 30th wedding aniversary on the Big Island and listened to him live.

I use the Moby song that comes with the tablet.
It doesn't scare me out of bed.

What program are you all using? I thought the N8xx could not do schedules by default.

Nice thread. When it comes to alarms, I prefer plain beeps. I made my own, which you can download here: http://jgwong.org/dropbox/j-alarm.wav

I downloaded a Gypsy Kings MP3 ring tone from MOSH. It's a lively snippet of music that we don't often hear anything like it. I boosted the sound a little with an audio editor -- louder is better. Works for me.

I use a custom mix of System of a Down's Chop Suey, and Rage Against the Machine's Wake Up.

Both loud and have people screaming "wake up." Perfect.

I'll take that as a compliment. :)

- Yes, you can use it on your Flip alarm clock. Credit mention would be nice.
- I created it, yes.
- Clean file.
- No "pirated version" whatsoever. I used a software synthesizer called Superwave P8, a music tracker called Renoise and the Audacity sound editor, all of them free.
- No hidden DRM.
- Not stolen from Brian Eno. And I'll take that as a compliment too. ;)

Radiohead-No surprises.
The first tamagotchi-style 30 seconds are perfect for a soft wake up :)

Well, they're jinxed now. :p I use either Schubert's Symphony No. 9 in C major, or S.A.T.O by Ozzy.
