[ANNOUNCE:] Windows Mobile 6.5 for Internet Tablets
 

(NOTE: APRIL FOOL´S JOKE)

So, you've all heard about Debian, Ubuntu and Android for the tablets. Old hat.

A group of us hackers have been working pretty hard at bringing you a new OS for the tablets. Something that hasn't been done yet.

And we've succeeded!

You need to get a copy of the leaked Windows 6.5 binary image, and then you need to follow the install instructions linked below to get the image installed on the tablet. It is surprisingly easy to do.

Some of the problems so far:

• No OSK for N800
• No Sound for any tablet
• No landscape mode
• (more in the install link below)

So I hope I started this new month out with some exciting news for everyone!

I just figured out how to do it!

Windows Mobile 7 is even easier to install :)

Just smash the screen against something or remove it.

Well, it doesn't look exactly like the real thing, but still, the functionality and user-experience is quite the same. :)
