XTerm shortcuts problem
Hi,
I tried to add "Del", "Home", etc to the shortcut toolbar in the xterm (OS2008, N800, bash). I tried KP_Home and things like that, but either they do nothing, or just write a '~' on the screen. Under 'sudo gainroot' some work, though. I tried with and without the .bashrc file with identical results. It seems that the osso_xterm is not catching the key sequence correctly. What am I missing? Thanks!! L. |
Re: XTerm shortcuts problem
Did you try uninstalling bash? Maybe that's the culprit...

Re: XTerm shortcuts problem
It seems to have something to do with bash.
I just installed bash and it does write the tilde when I use the shortcuts at the bash prompt. When running vim the shortcuts do seem to do what they should. Without bash the shortcuts KP_Home and KP_End work fine at the shell prompt. |

Re: XTerm shortcuts problem
bash 3.2 is in extras-devel. Haven't tried it so I can't say anything about it...
