iPhone must be really boring if people fall asleep while using it. :)

I'm having a hard time getting my head around "fell asleep while checking mail" thing. Does this guy have narcolepsy?

that's, of course, the dangers of finger UIs. wouldn't have happened with a stylus. ;)

it reminds me of another story though:
when i was still working as a helpdesk agent, a customer told me he needed to re-install our client because the cleaning lady had deleted it with the vacuum cleaner. It turned out the icon was selected and the cleaning lady had used the vacuum to clean the keyboard, where in a movement from right to left she first touched the "Delete" button and then the adjacent "Return" for confirmation. - So you can have the same effect with a simple vacuum cleaner, no need for fancy touchscreen technology.

If you had a toddler you'll know how it really sucks when he comes to the keyboard and start pressing all keys at once.

Rather, the mysteries of an unlocked input device. Similar events happened with keyboards and mouses too. Falling asleep with head on a keyboard, for example. If you don't lock your input devices and someone devices to clean your input devices then Bad Things (tm) may happen. Heck, fires have happened with TVs on stand-by.

There was even an unfortunate story where a kid who was gaming to late fell asleep and ended up getting hanged by his mouse cord. Yikes.

Someone opened the door of their 32x CD drive while it was still running, the safety features failed, the disc flew out and sliced the user's head clean off.

True story.

;-)
