a better countdown app??

Does anyone know if there is a better countdown app out there? the one they have is for counting down things days in advance. What I want is something that I can set to a time like 5 to 10 minutes, and have a buzzer go off when the time is up. It would also be great if you could pause the countdown too. Does anyone know if there's something like that avalible.

There's Eggtimer, but it doesn't have a pause.

Well, I dunno how to fix that for you (works for me), but I did have another thought. There's tons of free timers for PalmOS (bigclock is one) and they should work under the Garnet VM.

thanks for the suggestions! I tried eggtimer and online stopwatch, and I have to say that I prefer the online stopwatch. I thought that the fact that it opens through the web made inaccessable when not in a WiFi zone, but no, its still works if you download it!

Thanks!!! If anyone has another other suggestions, please tell me!

You want Kandis:

(The fact that Kandis doees not come up when one searches Downloads for "timer" -- even though that word is in Kandis's description -- means that the Search mechanism badly needs an overhaul.)

Also aClock works well under GVM. I really like the large, simulated green LED digital display. It cost $10 for the full version but is quick to set. Has count up, count down with alarm. Also has a log that lets you tap the screen and send the current time to a notepad file. It's actually a suite of time related apps with US times, world times and a bunch of other stuff. If anyone wants more info let me know.
