So I just want to say thanks lcuk (and all the others involved in that project).
Also lcuk seems to be much more self-confident than in the past. I remember the first maemo summit... ;-)

My intention was to start something nice, but now I believe, that my beloved community is going crazy just some days before the release of the n900. The world is looking at us, and we are behaving in such a bad way.
@qwerty12: I don't know what happened, but I don't think, that this is a nice way to express your feelings. The title of this thread is "We love lcuk" and not "We hate lcuk".

You have me all wrong. Of course I don't feel any hostility towards lcuk; I just said that to wind him up. We both usually do that to each other on IRC. :)

I apologise if I caused offence but he knows that I'm just taking the piss, and I don't really mean it. :p

zehjotkah, thanks so much for this link! you're right, the faces! the fun and amazement in their faces! it's the best video i've seen so far about the project because it's so emotional.

it was an absolutely magical thing to be involved in.

the n900 performed flawlessly and I got to meet up with some incredible people and had the best time of my life ever :)

the collaborative get together that is onedotzero was truly amazing and something I would love to followup on and keep in touch with all the people I met there :)
thousands of people came past and lots got to play with the interaction and I hope the identity follows its journey around the world and evolves with the onedotzero circus.

the only tinge I feel is what I had to give up to get there, but hopefully even that will sort itself out in the spin cycle

thanks for this thread - its still odd to hear myself on videos and have people ask what it was like.

qwerty and I have a long history of ripping each other, so don't tear down anything on his part - he can't help it, hes a northerner trapped in the body of a southerner ;)
