Prayer

Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you will remember if we were good men or bad, why we fought, or why we died. No, all that matters is that maemo stood against many, that's what's important. Valor pleases you, Crom, so grant me one request, grant me my N900! And if you do not listen, then the hell with you!

I've never been so impatient, where is it!!!

Religion, I've always believed, is the first sign of insanity. But in the case of the N900, I can accept any option as a viable one :D

That's not funny. It's also no more appropriate for this venue than denigrating blacks, whites, women, men, gays, heterosexuals, etc.

Back on topic: isn't it great how exciting gadgets can be? :o

He's not denigrating blacks, whites, women, men, gays, or heterosexuals. He made a simple statment, which convey's his own views and thats it. You're one whom brought up the corresponding aforementioned titles.

Yes, gadgets can be quite exciting but it would be even more exciting if I got an email Monday morning saying my N900 was in the mail.

Sorry, i think you misunderstood. "No more appropriate than ..." is a comparison, not an expression of equality.

This is a place for discussing the Maemo OS and related devices. Statements implying inferiority of others for any reason are not appropriate. I don't think that's hard to understand, nor unreasonable to ask.

You'll note that i'm pointing out that it's inappropriate, rather than saying how i feel about people who make comments like that. There's an important distinction.

The air must be very thick tonight.

Everybody's getting all bent out of shape all over the board.

Let's all take a deep breath and try not to let anyone's opinions take up too much of our time.

ummmm..... FIXED IN FREMANTLE!

(drink, b*tches! :))

Here I was hoping someone had created an app that would mean the n900 could say my prayers for me - preferably while I'm away doing something else...

Prayers cannot be outsourced. God sees everything anyway.

You mean God doesn't outsource?!?!?!?! I mean come on, everyone is doing that these days, maybe he has some company in China that handles all prayers.

I'm really sorry for any offense I caused. It's a quote, from where I can't remember. But that's no excuse, I apologise once again.

Now let's all rejoice and revel in the glory of the almighty Maemo :)
