Dial Centeral Not Working!!!!
 

I can't make DialCentral Work Anymore, it opens, but cannot login and when I press the login button, it looks like it is working, but the login button is shown again and again, Can someone help me fix this?

I had the exact same problem a couple of days ago.

I think the problem got resolved by doing a hard restart.

Might be something to try while you're waiting for a more competent answer.

What exactly do you mean by a hard restart, I rebooted my tablet and it still didn't work, any other way I can fix this?

a reboot that is done without being connected to a power supply.

Ahem.

1. Install the latest version from extras-devel (1.7.something).

2. run the program, try to login, it should return an error at the bottom. exit the program

3. open a terminal.

4. gain root.

5. 6. run dialcentral. login should work now.

Can a mod merge this with the dial central 1.0 thread?
This is actually useful info (albeit already stated by Gerbick) that should be in there.

I had the same problem yesterday, and that's exactly what I did to fix it.

You installed the version from extras-devel?

I had the same problem a cuple of days ago, and this is what I did to resolve it.
1 uninstall dialcentral
2 erase all you have in /home/user/.dialcentral
3 download and install dialcentral 1.0.4-5
4 star dialcentral and input login settings (remember select google voice)
5 once you have dialcentral 1.0.4-5 running with no error, run in terminal sudo apt-get update, sudo apt-get upgrade. This will upgrade dialcentral to the latest.
