The information available in Finnish (at next.nokia.fi) says that it gives a chance to try out the device and hear about what the development team is doing. They also promise to stream the Helsinki event live, don't know about the other events.

The dates imply that Finland and Dubai might be the "October Select Markets":

I signed up for the Helsinki meet. I only have one question to the flagship store crew: Where can I leave the ~ 600 EUR and walk away with the device. I hope they have a simple answer for me :D

I just went past the flagship store about half an hour ago. They had a note on the door that they will be closing early (6:30 pm) today, but no other signs or activities about this evening's party.

The "bathtub-sized" N97-dummys are still in the windows with Finnish texts "N97 is here!"

Only about 2 more hours and then it all starts...

Heading to the Helsinki Flagship store. Jussi told me to be there at 19h. Either that is the time when the ting starts or he wants me to work on something before the opening.

have been checking for the london release too but still see as not available, if anyone is seeing different to myself and LCUK would appreciate the heads up

I don't remember who just hacked it and sent the information via POST and got a confirmation email.. now the count says 79 out of 80

I hope no one else does this, as it'll be very annoying.

I signed up for the Helsinki meetup but I didn't realize that I have to visit the confirm link in email, so all the places got reserved before I realized it and the confirmation link become obsolete.

Oh well, have fun in there, I'll be watching the stream!
