Music library syncing software
 

I tried doubleTwist(slow and many functions missing), Songbird(manages my library locally but does not sync with n900,yet), iTunes(not in one million years).

So I would like something just like Songbird but that would actually SYNC with the phone. Downloading art album, tags, organizing and so on...

Any suggestions?

I use Mediamonkey, It is perfect. And you are able to sync with a phone/mass usb very easily.

Irrelevant to you, I think, but on the Mac I used "Salling Media Sync" (free to download, pay to get enable full version) to sync iTunes library to the N900. Worked great, album art and all. Just clicked the mass-media transfer mode on in the N900 after connecting the USB cable, installed Salling Media Sync and off it went. Salling Media Sync is available for some other platforms too I believe.

Currently listening to the results. :D

Dare I say it... Windows MediaPlayer will work just fine :D

This is perfect because I just started using mediamonkey *loveit* and It would be nice to easily sync my library to Maemo..

Can't you just use any media program that supports mass media transfer protocal?

I think some may be creating a problem where there is none.

The n900 syncs perfectly with my wm files and includes album art if available.

Oh and I must admit the album icons look stunning in the N900

So theres no need to complicate it. Just stick in your usb and away you go.

I am old school Winamp user, I am pretty sure any mass storage drive would sync up with it.
