just ordered from their store. i talked to 5 different reps in the last couple days, all said it will be in stock and should ship by monday... fingers crossed.

I was in the process of ordering from the Nokia store, but when I got through registering the price in the cart changed from 549 to 649. WTH?!?

The website still has the discount price up but the product page is showing full price!

i dont know whats wrong today at 1 am it totally changed to 569 but it wouldnt allow me to order it authorization failed always & like an hour ago it came back 649 though the other phones are still on discount thats not good :( :(

I just called nokia usa sales. I was told the price is $649 and the sale starts tomorrow. Amazing since on their homepage the phone is listed as being discounted today! :mad:

I ordered from Nokia at 6AM EST today and got the $569 price, but it appears to be back to full price now. Thankfully my card was charged the correct price.

I pre-ordered from Amazon in early November, but don't expect to get shipping notification any time soon from there. I'd briefly considered calling the Chicago store to see if they had any in stock and would hold one, but it's a 4-hour drive, and that's just silly, especially on a day like today.

Price has been updated to the promised $569 before tax. I just ordered mine and paid $613 after taxes with express shipping. I will update when I get shipping confirmation! :)

Not sure if they are shipping it out today but I have talked to a couple of different reps at nokia and they said I should recieve it by middle next week.
I just ordered mine. Paid 617 with express shipping.

i paid 608.52 with standard shipping. going to call and see if i can update to express if its only 613 ! i had card authorizing problems . tried a couple times but my bank said the last time went through . it charged my card but i dont know if i should be getting a confirmation email that i ordered the phone at least? :s

im really pissed . i kept getting the authorization failed when trying to order online . my bank said the last time i ordered it went through so it got deducted from my account . so i called nokia back and they said since i tried it more than 3 times i have to wait 3 to 5 business days to try it again!! OMG!!!!!

Join the club. I have tried with 4 different credit cards (both Mastercard & Visa), using two different NokiaUSA accounts (me & the wife) and already spent too much time on the phone with my bank and NokiaUSA reps. Still no luck. I don't know many companies that make it this difficult to buy a $600 product.

You guys that are having problems getting the card confirmed - have you gotten any confirmation at all? I ordered at midnight with the lower price and received a confirmation email right away. How should I know if my card doesn't work?

Mine, too. I recall reading something here or on Amazon's forums that the Nokia rep the person spoke with said that if it was ordered before 3PM EST today, it should ship today. I hope that's accurate.

Actually, my nokia page changed to "there are no orders for this account." weird. But I have my fedex tracking number and confirmation from nokia. The status stayed at in progress the entire time until I got the email from fedex.

Just as one more example of Goofiness.

I ordered around 1:45 in the am when the deal went live. I figured that was my best bet at getting it shipped Friday.

The folks who "slept in" and ordered after "Nokia woke up" were the ones who got their's shipped on Friday.

Go figure that chit!

At least they are consistent. Just like NewEgg. The guys who ordered 6 weeks ago, good luck ever getting it. The guys who ordered this week already have it!

Just got my shipping confirmation. I ordered around 11am on friday. Should be here by 3pm on monday !! Seems like it was worth canceling the amazon pre-order after all :D

looks like I have had the same problem. I have tried on THREE seperate occasions to get others to purchase the N900 online for me in case my credit card, name or address was somehow blocked.

I asked a colleage to place the order
I asked my sister-in-law to place the order
I asked my brother to do teh same

on ALL THREE OCCASIONS I got the "authorization failed" message.

When I tried to order on phone the Nokia sales staff on the telephone, she told me that "..there is NO gaurantee that the credit card processing woudl go through" !!!! And of course just like in the web online order, my credit card failed again.

does anyone know if there is a trick to getting their online orders processed successfully?
