Drnoksnes Reinstallation Help Needed
 

Has anyone been able to reinstall drnoksnes or ines for that matter since they have been removed from the repositories by using the .debs? When I try to install it says I have a bunch of dependancies missing. Im running an N810 with Diablo 43-7.

worked for me on the N900, but I have no idea what format an roms should be for me to test it.

The snes roms should have a.smc extension. Pm me and Ill give you some links so people wont whine about me posting the links publicly. Could you send me links to the .debs you used?

you can install the deb's with sudo dpkg -i nameofdeb.deb

The missing dependancies your talking about are located here:

http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d...bz/libzeemote/

http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d...bzeemote-conf/

install the dependancies first, then install your drnoksnes deb

I have an N810, will using those .debs and enabling those repositories work?

Yeah, I believe you have to have a certain number of posts first. The way the error shows though, it looks as if I have the dependancies, but they arent new enough. I made a post on another emulator thread with screenshots, but I cant find them.

u dont need to *enable* the extras-devel repos if u dont want to,

u can just download the individual .debs u want, download these ones:
libzeemote_1.0.5-maemo1_armel.deb
libzeemote-dev_1.0.5-maemo1_armel.deb

libzeemote-conf_1.0.1-maemo3_armel.deb
libzeemote-conf-dev_1.0.1-maemo1_armel.deb

then root
dpkg -i <alltheabovedebs>.deb
:)

try downloading those and install them, should replace the old ones, if it doesn't want to try uninstalling the old files

can u post the error what happens when you do:

dpkg -i drnoksnesthing.deb

Here is a screenshot of the error when trying to install through app manager...nothing with libzeemote is even listed as a missing dependancy.

tha'ts alot of stuff, i didn't have any of that, must be cuz your on the 810, my build must have included all those later versions.

i dont know what version of drnoksnes your installing but the only thing i can think of you trying to do, cuz trying to upgrade all that stuff isn't gonna be nearly as fun as playing a nice nes rom

is try installing an earlier version of it like this one:

The 0.9.4 worked just fine with no issues... i never bothered trying it because I thought I had a newer version that that. Though I still have the same problem with ines as well... is there an older version of it? The version I tried is 3.6.6-1 that came in that folder with all the other .debs

I've downloaded the file, threw it on my mem card, so how do I install SNES, now?
