Conversations: Unable to delete a conversation

Hey I encountered a strange bug where I'm unable to delete a conversation in the conversations tab.

I can choose to delete it, but it still stays there.

Has anyone encountered this type of problem before and any suggestions as to how to fix it, as the buggy conversation that I'm unable to delete is annoying me.

Ok I'll take a different approach,

anyone know where conversations are stored? (or how to reach that folder, file etc.) so that I can clear the folder/delete the problematic conversation.

The conversation that I cannot delete also has no text/conversation in it. It's empty.

What's the icon of the conversation? Is it an arrow?

There's a problem where sometimes a call is showed in the conversations application but it's not really a conversation.
If this is the problem you'll have a call from/to the same contact in the Phone application, delete it from the Phone application and I think it will be deleted from the Conversations application too.

Yes it's a downward facing green arrow

Ok I tried as you did, and this time I ended up with 2 arrows, one of them blue, facing left side.

After that I deleted all call history which cleared the issue :)

hello. i have a very annoying problem!i cannot delete a specific conversation! the messages inside this conversation are always deleted automatically! but the conversation cannot be deleted. it doesn't have a missed call icon as you mention above. but there a call from this contact in phone list and it cannot also be deleted. when i press delete it terminates phone application! tried to remove all calls but that call stays there!

I have the same problem.

I have some conversation mess:
- I can't delete some conversations
- Some SMS I send have the icon of "still sending" but in reality are sent. Then, when I close and re-open the conversation, all out-bound smses are gone, I only have inbound smses.

Help me, my conversation app is acting strange!

Is there a way to re-set the conversation (and only the conversation) to empty?

It's so damn annoying that I'll end up smashing my N900 to the floor and getting a different phone...

I think you can delete all the conversations from the X Terminal, I am sure I just read that somewhere on here!

.rtcom-eventlogger/el-vl.db

You can remove the whole folder if normal procedures don't seem to work. Just do :

rm -r .rtcom-eventlogger

but do try these steps first :
