14 cents per MB,
all wi-fis here have passwords. and i don't know how much money i have left on sim, cuz i can't dial *245# to check it :D |
Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
ok it's not related but I don't want to make a seperate thread for this question...
Does the bounce demo has sound? The bounce on my N900 did not have any sound. I reinstalled it but still no sound. (my n900 doesn't have a sound problem as other apps work fine) |
Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
what would be most common, or, maybe, default password if minimum symbol count is eight symbols?

Sounds like you need a new data plan :) - that sounds quite expensive!!! In the UK you get an unlimited (Ish) data plan for about £5 per month (7/8$ i think?) works fine for me :) There are free wifi's all over the place here, normally in towns you can pick one up easily :) |
Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
unfortunately for me at least anything off of the nokia based repos will not work over wi-fi only celluar data. Anybody else have this problem?

Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
Where can we safely download games like Bounce Evolution, now that OVI store is discontinued? It looks like the OVI mirror repository (http://maemo.linenoise.info/download...mantle1.2/ovi/) from http://wiki.maemo.org/Repository#Mir...ion_manager.29 is down too.
Edit: I found another mirror (http://mirror.linjama.com/downloads....fremantle/ovi/), is this one safe to use? If it is safe from a trusted member, it would be useful to list it on http://wiki.maemo.org/Repository#Mir...ion_manager.29 Listing the checksum of the original packages would be useful too to make sure it was not modified by a third-party. |

you should have waited another 6 months. Then you would have raised this thread already a decade (10-year) old dead ! |
Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
@peterleinchen I had the same question and found this thread on a search engine. Some forums prefer to have users that continue the discussion on an old thread instead of creating a duplicate.
I did not directly find the other thread https://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=94722 which is related to the OVI mirrors. |

Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
I happen to have Bounce Evolution installed on my N900, how do I make a. deb of it?
|
Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
Wasn't there somewhere a deb rebuild package? Either in repos or bust on TMO?
|
Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
There's a torrent on archive.org (7.4gb). There's also a Google drive link someone posted here https://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=94722
I have nothing to do with either so I can't comment on the safety/security of them. |

Here you are... :) Look for bounce ;) |
Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
@justmemory thanks, it looks like it is not the latest version like on the OVI mirror (1.0.0 instead of 1.0.1). If we want other games like Angry Birds, I think we have to get them from the OVI archive since they are not listed on http://maemo.muarf.org/apt-mirror/mi...remantle/apps/.

Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
I have a mirror of the OVI stuff (as of December 2012). This includes bounce_1.0.1_armel.deb (size: 15267814 bytes, sha256sum: 09e0b3abc8c422ffaa3a2fca7e796749d6ad6797137b840d84 e28938c6401ab4) and also angrybirds_1.1.0_armel.deb (size: 11250946, sha256sum: 11b5b79e37605a4ac81f66dd7222fbfabe5014fa2a9e7cdd6d 8315ae8dd137dc).
If anybody needs those, I could place them on a publically accessible link. |

Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
Just wanted to notify people subscribed to this post that maemo.linenoise.info is completely back up again since a few months ago, but there was an issue with the SSL certificate that is now fixed.

Re: Where to download Bounce evolution?
So is Bounce Evolution just a demo?
Years ago when I actually tried to play some phone games it looked kind of fun but what I assume to be a demo with 2-4 puzzles is all I ever had... If I recall there was also a deb or .sh installer for a 4th add-on for angry birds. |
