So I clipped out the UPC/barcode to send to Nokia and I noticed something on the UPC/barcode that I cut out.
Look at the top left |
Re: Hahaha NOKNA
I think that stands for NOKia North America :)
|
Re: Hahaha NOKNA
That is probably short for NOKia North America.

Re: Hahaha NOKNA
Do you need to send the whole sticker or just the barcode above the big NOKIA N900 print?
I just cut out that part of the sticker and left the IMEI part on the box |

Re: Hahaha NOKNA
My N900 box has a white label/sticker on it and is 50/2009 stated.
What's the difference? what those number mean? |
Re: Hahaha NOKNA
Production week. from my experience, all my devices after 47/2009 had the freezing issues...

Re: Hahaha NOKNA
I once had a little pocket radio from a market (going back about 10 years now) made by Nokina. Same font and everything.

Re: Hahaha NOKNA
Where did you guys with 'NOKNA' on your box get your phones from?
I've just bought one new on Ebay from U.S. and it says 'N900_NOKNA_BLK' above the barcode on the white sticker on the box. Do you guys think this is fake? If there are those with similar stickers bought from retail stores, I'd be a bit more confident that this is not fake... |

Re: Hahaha NOKNA
I got mine from Buy.com and Amazon.com in 12/2009. Nokia fixed one of them under warranty when the screen went dark.
There is nothing wrong with it being labelled that way. |
Re: Hahaha NOKNA
Thanks for the information.
I noticed on the phone plastic wrapping there was a label sealing the wrapping saying: 'Nokia Care Expiry Date 18 MAR 2011' The white label on the outside of the box says: 11/2010 I cant work out the dates - the phone wrapper label presumably informs us of the expiry of the 25 month Nokia warranty. If thats the case, I cant understand why the phone would have been sealed in wrapper Feb 2009, but the box shows a date 1 year 9 months later? Any idea? |
