Wrong version shown at prompt in the console

Several weeks ago I installed the rootsh application and now I have updated the firmware to 2.2009.51-1. Now, when I issue the "root" command in the console, I get root privileges but the system prompt says "Nokia-N900-42-11", not "Nokia-N900-51-1" as it should. When using "sudo gainroot" command, there is no version at the system prompt. Do you have the same issue?

Thanks.

That's just the hostname - it's got nothing to do with the actual version. You can change this by (as root) editing /etc/hostname.

Mine was actually corrupted, so I just had a ? shown, which is why I'd not noticed this issue.

EDIT: You need to reboot before the change is picked up.

Thank you!

I have one more question: the hostname "Nokia-N900-42-11" is the default hostname of the N900 or was it changed when installing rootsh?

I assume it was the default one, as a number of people have noticed the same issue.

That's an entirely different issue - I've no idea where it's getting that info from, but I'd guess you're either missing a package or have a corrupt file somewhere.

That's similar to what I get, yes. I would've though that was looking in the same place as the Product info. I can't find anywhere else on the phone that the version number is recorded.
