should the ovi store be working?
 

I saw that it's supposed to be live now, but I still get "coming soon", with the latest softqare. any ideas whats going on?

if i go there, it tells me i need to upgrade, but i'm running 2.2009.51-1.002 ... any ideas?

I also just tried clearing all data except for saved passwords from microb, and I still get "upgrade your Nokia n900 to enter ovi store" ... Just to be sure, I went to "updates" in the app manager, and the only thing listed is an update for the additional codecs pack. I so want to download stuff :'( help!

I have the same "issue" ... also running the latest version of the OS and the ovi store still tells me to update lol.
Could it be OVI store is not open in all countries yet and Nokia checks IP when you try to access the store?

did you get both upgrades, pre-firmware release, and the new firmware upgrade?

yes both ... updated directly on my phone via App Manager.
"About" screen says Im running 2.2009.51-1.002

I did just the new firmware upgrade, using the Nokia Software Updater on my PC.

So it worked for you on previous versions of the OS? Does anyone know what the appropriate place to file a support request with Nokia is? This is becoming highly frustrating :(

Not that this is even a remotely acceptable solution (angry eyes->Nokia), but I have fixed this problem by flashing my N900 back to the factory settings, including the user area, by following the directions here: http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/...&thread.id=168
