Ringtone thread! Whats your ringtone?
Lets share ringtones with other users. Post your ringtone or song name, link on youtube or other sharing media. Tired of your current ringtone? Need change? Then browse through this thread and you might find something new for a change! I'll start. I like to use vocal trance songs as ringtones, especially ones that begins with vocals. I used to have the ringtone from the phones in CTU in '24' on my N95. I might put it on the n900.
I'm currently using a default one. But hey, I don't get many calls :( Only kidding, I'm really popular! |

From the days of the oldest nokia communicators they could play arbitrary downloaded wavs. Something rare on phones od the day. I tended to copy ringtones from phone to phone as I upgraded. On the 9500 I liked the built in snapdragon.aac. Incdluding on the 9300 and copied it to the e90. But others started using it and so to tell my phone apart; I switched to Nuance.aac on my e90. I then found it didn't come on the N900 so I copied it from my N97* and still use it. Oh and the sms Message3.aac coped too.
* I had to write a quick python line to read it in from Z: and write to copyoffable memory as I didn't have a uk sim and so my wifi would't work on ch13. I only had python installed no 3rd party filemanagers! |

Mine used to be Isaac Hayes' magnificent "Theme from Shaft" (good bit starts at 4:18), but has now been changed to Ringo Starr's rejected theme tune for the movie Goldfinger.

i have Wake Up by Rage against the machine. Not sure when i cut it but it starts as the guitar comes in lol. (its the tune played at the end of the matrix)

I use one I ripped from a classic movie; Freddy got fingered. It is the clip of him doing 'The backwards man', the text message one is another clip of Freddy doing 40 million Daouchmarks! Very funny.

I have converted the old Attraction from the 8110 > 7650, in RNG format, to MID, then WAV and now MP3 as I upgraded the phone.

I use a Swedish song, called "Passa dig" by "LOK". It starts with a young child saying "Nu blir det hårdrock" (translates roughly to: "now we'll have some hard rock") and then some hard rock starts:)
