[Announce] gTranslate 0.5 now in Extras-devel
 

So if you didn't know, gTranslate is a simple client for Google Translate.

New features

• Google Translate's dictionary support for single words
• Transliterate for languages like Russian and Japanese
• Remembers the last used languages

but it doesnt save the language,i need to choose again every time...and the Transliterate for Chinese seem not so right,may i know where u get that Transliterate from?

0.5 saves the language AFAICS.

Maybe I do something wrong or the app isn't ready yet. When I try to translate something on my PC Google translate works fine. But when I try to translate the same word in the app it can't find the word.

It should save the last used languages. It gets the transliterate from Google Translate so if there is something wrong, it's Google's fault.

OK, tell me an example of a word that doesn't work.

I don't know when it will be is extras. gTranslate isn't ready yet and there are some bugs and missing features...

Hello I have problem with actualisation gTranslate 0.5 to 0.6.
I receive some error - missing library libhildon1 or my package is out of date.

is there anyway to make this work without network connection? Will be travelling abroad and this could be very useful

Nope, it uses Google for the translation service so you need an internet connection.
