Yes old news, someone from Nokia quoted on the subject again yesterday this is why is all over the blogs today. Is more than clear that another device with Maemo 6 will be available in the second hald, however it still remains a mystery if a Maemo 6 update will be available for the N900.

*raises hand* Stupid question of the day. Will existing Maemo 5 devices be able to upgrade to this, or will we have to wait until a new Maemo 6 compatible product comes out before we can use this?
