I wish there was an option:

"I don't think we will see MeeGo on N900 but I think overall this is a good move for Nokia and I want to see it on other devices".

Then again, that would be pretty long.

But all in one place in a poll that NOKIA MIGHT SEE. I would like to know as im still in limbo about what to do since the n900 we supposed to be nokias comeback since the n97. And now we might get shafted with MeeGo, no other company treats us like beta testers.

PS: ill never sell my n900 since I won it :D nokia cityman

Bye bye Nokia if MeeGo is a no go on the N900. As much as I love the N900 I will NEVER buy another Nokia product.

I am pretty happy with the N900 and I feel it gets better with each update. Three in one month is nice. So I have to believe MeeGo will come. If not, I know this device was intended to be an 18-month device. So we'll see what happens mid-2011. The mobile world is changing quick!

totally agreed. i'm not going to buy another Nokia device until they start following android path. i really hope my N900 get at least maemo6 update if not MeeGO

I'll keep my n900 regardless of what happens with meego. I will, however, consider purchasing my next phone from a company that realizes that it's more about the software than the device nowadays, and will provide software updates accordingly. It would be my first non-Nokia device since my original motorola in 1995.

That being said. I have faith that Nokia will discontinue their s60 trend with the n900.

if MeeGo wont be released for the N900 ill keep the N900 and buy iphone 4G since apple knows how to treat customers ! i mean that's a disgrace if we can't update from nokia ! at least we should be able to update by money !!

i havent bought a nokia phone in years. i bought a n900 hoping it would win me back to nokia, but lately i feel like in the end ill be left in the dust. nokia, proove me wrong!

You are right that it is more about the software. I bought the N900 specifically because it doesn't require Nokia's support to keep the software up to date. But, as evidenced by all the recent threads on what may or may not happen in the future, many people have a deep seated fear of such freedom.

lucky i won this device lol won a high end nokia every year for the past 4 years. feel like no one in Australia has this phone except for me lol most people assume its an N97 till the open the keyboard (idiots). i love it to death. the multitasking is amazing lol. my friend has an iphone 3Gs and just updated to the new firmware 3.1.3 lol no jailbreak till june unhackable firmware apple released. wwooooooo 1 point for open source lol. iphone is so crap when its locked down and not jail-broken ssoo boring

the only acceptable situation if the new OS is released till june, is to make the meego (or maemo6) run on N900 and NOT on a replacement of N900.

i think nokia N900 will be the history if it don't get Meego or M6 .
and next time when they introduce Meego phone i will wait for at least 6 months to buy,(just wanaa make sure after meego, nokia dont merge with Apple and introduce iGO ) lol
