Agreed, useful widget! Visual feedback on the icon would be a nice touch, maybe a toggle like the FMTX widget.

And I was so proud that I had managed to get as small an icon as possible :-) Why should it be made bigger?

Directly toggle bluetooth on/off without the need to go through original status > bluetooth > enable > save procedure.

I will try to add visual feedback, but not a toggle (the BT status is already visible in the status bar and I dont want to have to track that)

Dude, Fremantle is all about being finger-friendly. :p
I find trying to move small widgets a...erm...fun task. :D

Ah, but you must read the description of Bluezwitch, as you can easily move the widget by hold&drag OUTSIDE the bottom left corner :D

Extras-testing.
(The maemo.org package view can be handy.)

No technical reason that these things would be related. The widget only turns BLuetooth on or off, but has no influence on profiles etc.

Re: [N900] Bluezwitch Widget App - Feature Request

Ive been using for a bit and it works great.

Just 2 requests (kinda the same as before):

- the author of the program is quite happy with his choice of a small icon, maybe he could grant us the option of chosing a bigger icon throught the settings? (like the ip-home widget which has a the option of setting itself in "compact" mode) :)

-Could there be a way to see (except from the maemobar) if we pressed the bluetooth icon?
(maybe have a yellow aura around the icon? or keep the icon in grey when not used and blue when activated?)

Let me know what you think! :D

First: Great App

Do you plan to create a similar app for wifi? (the wifi-switch app for the status-bar is not handy)

Re: [N900] Bluezwitch Widget App - Feature Request

Great update! Thanks !!

Also are you able to make this show in the applications so I may add it too shortcuts in the app "quick launch"

that would be cool, as then you can two-tap to toggle BT on any screen!!

hope you can do this, thanks so much!!

1. Noted, will try
2. Implemented in the new version (icon goes grey for a moment when clicked)

What exactly would you like to happen? Please explain and specify your usecase as detailed as possible (going offline in general, just disconnect wifi? There are various solutions possible)

Just updated to the latest version and ...

1. Thanks! :D
2. It works as you said but I had a different idea in head.

(Just a suggestion: maybe we could have the option of having the icon in grey when the bluetooth is off and blue when on ?)

What do you say?

What do you say?

Now I got what you meant. The answer is No, as it IMHO doesn't add value - the bluetooth status is already displayed in the status icons; it doesn't make sense to track this in two places.

Hi, Just updated my copy and it's a great app I use it all the time especially when getting into my car and connecting to my Parrot, button size in now perfect imho. As for the wifi switcher, if possible I'd like to see one that just turns the wifi on and off, is that possible? Thanks again for a great and useful app.

Thanks for the app,
is it possible to remove the "Bt off" message?
The widget doesn't turn gray while I press it (like FMTX widget)

Re: [N900] Bluezwitch Widget App - Feature Request

Another thanks for a great app.

Would there be a way for the app to turn off the bluetooth after X amount of time if it is not connected to a device, simmilar to the Autodisconnect app.

This would be great as i use the app for my bluetooth headphones, and if after i disconnect them from my phone (which i can do from the headphones) the bluetooth would turn it self off after X min i would not have to take out my phone to do it manually.

The icon changes after I press it, shouldn't it change instantly like a button? Ok it's not important.
anyway it would be good if the on/off messages can be disabled.

Re: [N900] Bluezwitch Widget App - Feature Request

Just a few suggestions to improve the widget:
- Change size to match with default application icons.
- Add the possibility to show the background (default, nothing or theme background).
- Add autorotation.
- Adjustable size of the widget.

It would be great if it could be on pair (feature wise) with Dr Launch widget.

Thanks.
