Re: Flashing the eMMC first?

you have to do everything in CMD ... the flasher doesn't run like a normal program

i used this guide it was very helpful :

flash emmc first. flashing fw first then emmc is pointless because you'll end up flashing fw twice.

if you want completely new fresh out of factory unit then flash emmc first then put on new firmware. if you flash firmware first, all your data and settings still there. pointless

the code/command you have written is really wrong mate this is why it wont work , command prompt needs to be told what to do and you have told it jibberish and thefore it hasnt worked

the command should be like this

flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R

if your emc file is called RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin

then youll write the above into command prompt to get it to work

Re: Flashing the eMMC first?

Click Start > All Programs > Maemo > Maemo Flasher > Maemo Flasher 3.5, right click it, start as administrator.
Type the command and use tab to complete the filename, the error that's closing the flasher should show up now
