Re: Flashing the eMMC first?
you have to do everything in CMD ... the flasher doesn't run like a normal program
i used this guide it was very helpful : http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/...ata/m-p/591877 |
Re: Flashing the eMMC first?
flash emmc first. flashing fw first then emmc is pointless because you'll end up flashing fw twice.

i just did it, i use CMD type everything in there, it still didnt flash ? |
Re: Flashing the eMMC first?
if you want completely new fresh out of factory unit then flash emmc first then put on new firmware. if you flash firmware first, all your data and settings still there. pointless

EDIT: that file name is a little short ... did you rename it? |

the command should be like this flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R if your emc file is called RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin then youll write the above into command prompt to get it to work |

yea, i did renamed it , as RX_002-bin。 then it did not work on command prompt. the flasher 3.5 didnt work. |
Re: Flashing the eMMC first?
Click Start > All Programs > Maemo > Maemo Flasher > Maemo Flasher 3.5, right click it, start as administrator.
Type the command and use tab to complete the filename, the error that's closing the flasher should show up now |
