edit a received message??
 
is it possible to edit a message that ive received via text message??

im guessing its a sudo gainroot job, but i dont know where to look in the system file structure to find the messages!

SMS are stored at /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger/el.db

You need some sort of SQLite browser
I used http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/

would forwarding it to yoursel, removing the FW tag work? then remove the old message?

nice idea but no, because then the conversation would be all messed up, but I like your way of thinking..

Damn conversation style text messages, lol. Best bet would be to do an SQL select on the conversations database as suggested
