Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
Can Aneone Help Me With This Or No.?
I Really Could Do With Some Answers.! Thank You, Anthony-Curtis |
Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
Did you notice this?
Flashing the eMMC in the N900 When flashing the eMMC content, always flash the FIASCO/Rootfs image first, then the eMMC. Do not boot up the device between the two! |
Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
im assuming you have the right USB drivers as youve done it before...
libusb USB library (only for Windows and Mac OS X installations) http://pc-connectivity.garage.maemo.....1.12.1.tar.gz ive done both, flash eMMC first then FW, and visa versa. never had a problem. |
Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
I Can Flash The OS 100% Fine, Just Will Not Allow Me Todo eMMC I Dont Understand.?

Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(

Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
the only problems i seem to have are stupid ones,
you aint doing anything silly you have full battery? got the eMMC in your flasher directory? also...would it not be easier to rename the eMMC to just rx51 to eliminate spelling errors and easier input |
Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
No Errors You Can Use TAB<--> And It Auto Picks Up File.!
Yes Battery Is Full, Funny Tho, Ive Mangaed To Flash It Many Times Before But Since I Flashed The MeeGo OS I Am Unable Too. Hmmm Anthony-Curtis |
Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(

- You have flashed vanilla image? - Tell me how exactly you are trying to flash emmc? (whole work flow and order of things what you do) I gave up with my quest to find responsiveness problemīs source on my device and flashed vanilla and emmc. I noticed that i could not flash emmc with current guide. Have to use vanillaīs guide to emmc flash. I think that guide needs really really good care and some Q&A testing. http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_tablet_firmware |

I turned off my device (long press power key). Took usb cable off from N900 (left hooked to my computer). Waited so that screen is completely off. Pushed "u"-key and attached usb cable. N900 boots in flash mode. Started flasher from command prompt with switches and emmc image/vanilla. |

No Pin.?
It Finds Image It Finds Phone, As It Puts The Phone In Flasher Mode, Which It Should Already Be, When Connecting And Holding "U" Im Just Baffeled.! Anthony-Curtis |

Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
P.S Is This Fiasco/Firmware A Spercific One To Flash With As Im Using,
RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM.bin Anthony-Curtis |
Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
OK. I would like to know did you do exactly as I did? I mean exactly! This is really really important.
Fiasco/firmware depends on your location/country and if I remember correctly the vanilla/emmc image is general "RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin" image to all. |
Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
What Do You Mean Exaclty, I Listed The Order Of What I Did Just When It Comes To The eMMC Image It Dont Want To Play Nice,
I Have Flashed It Before So I Know What I Am Doing, Its Just Being Nauty For The eMMC Image So I Guess Yeah I Did Exactly As You Did Else I Would Not Have Been Able To Flash OS.! Anthony-Curtis |

When It Reboots Phone After Finding The eMMC Image It Obv D/c And Then R/c When It R/c I Looked In My Computer - Mange And There Are 3 Drivers Missing Virtual PC Intergration Device, So Im Guessing It Might Have Somthing Todo With The Problem, I Downloaded The Lib0 USB Drivers But They Will Not Install Of Them, Hmmmmmm.? Anthony-Curtis |
Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
My guide is different than guide in wiki (at least for vanilla/emmc) and i have seen n+1 number of different guides in blogs and here where people FIRST run flasher and AFTER that connect N900. In my opinion these kinds of "little" things matter A LOT.
I think that reason for little variation inguides is because of Win xp/Vista 32&64/ 7 32&64 and it could be that all these OS need a BIT little workflow. I do not know or iīm not sure about this just wild guess. Guess is not enough in matter of how you did try to flash you emmc/vanilla. Please try again with emmc and with both workflows first mine and then the one in wiki :) Report here. |
Re: Help With eMMC and N900 :(
No Its Nothing Todo With The Problem As There Still There When The Phone Has Been D/c Grrr.! Thought I Was On To Somthing Then.!
