I don't think is a good idea to buy (send money) to someone on a forum because they say they have something for sale... Why not use ebay with "buy now" option?

How could paypal be as safe as ebay? If I buy something from ebay, paypal won't release to you my money until the package was delivered and I gave you a positive review. If I just send you money on paypal directly... I don't think there is much I can do to get them back if you don't send me anything.
