for the first time within 2.5 months!
 

in 2 months of using the n900, finally i got my first hairline scratch!

cant upload a screen shot coz its not really noticable, you nid to find the perfect angle to be able to see it.

even thouhg how careful i am, this is telling me that i need a screen protector....

I managed to scratch mine using a fingernail, maybe some grit stuck in the end of my nail..

Just finished applying the screen protector ;)

I ordered my screen protector with the N900 and put it on right away, so no scratches here :cool:

Yeah I got one too, put a invisible shield on it now thou, should of done this at the beginning. Now gets no finger prints, always looks clean, and is still very responsive!

well, i have some hairline scratches on the top edge of the device (the part thats not protected when using the cp-321 case)

its ok, you really have to try to see these kind of scratches.

i am still kinda lazy to get a screen prtector. the scratch on my device is not visible until you focus.

if i get one, i hope it will not reduce the usablity of the stylus (just like my 5800)

I've got my screen protector BEFORE I even bought the N900 :D
hahaha

so, no scratches over here aswell.


By the way, Why did Nokia made a "black" screen protector when you bought the device!?

All other devices just comes with a "default" screen protector... :confused:

screen protectors havent ruined my touch screen performance and they have obvously kept my phone screen like new

great when you sell the device who wants to purchase a touch screen phone witha grubby screen

the top layer of the n900 screen is very soft and easily scratched by little bits of dust etc on your nail/stylus/finger

for the n900 id allways recomend a protector

i have the same question. when i got my n900, i was kinda scared that the phone is not turning on,

but then, the black film was blocking everything i must see on the screen

maybe they did it so we HAVE to buy another screen protector?! (given the user wants to use one in the first place)

i remember when i bought my samsung jet... it came with a stock clear screen protector installed on it and i used that one like 2 month until i bought a proper one.

i think nokia wants to support all the other protector-makers and installs a black one so we are forced to take that one off and buy another if we care about the device :D

lol , i remember, it was 1st week of launching of n900, someone returned his phone because he said that the screen is bad and its so dark. Funny thing he didn't know that there's black screen protector on it. Lmao.
