Galaxy Fire 2 coming to Maemo late 2010
 

I came across this article when surfing google.

It says that Maemo will get Galaxy Fire 2 later this year :)

I've never played the game before, but judging from gameplay videos on Youtube, it looks like it might make use of the N900's accelerometer.

Lets hope the N900 has some half-decent mobile games before the end of 2010.

Seems to be a cool game

I appreciate the fact that the n900 will get a hight definition graphics port of it!

N900 runs Maemo so you don't have ot port it since they are making for the n900.

Hope it makes to N900 soon since that really is a good game. I played it with my old phone (N70),but it was nearly too slow to play. Thankfully it will be faster (and better looking) on N900!

wicked! was one of the best games i played on s60 (and i played a LOT!) and the improved graphics will just be gravy! mmmm gravy! :)

Seems nice, although I'd prefer a landscape view for this kind of game.

This is exactly the game I've been looking for. Big fan of the X series and Freelancer so this is the best news I've heard all day. Ur Quan masters is cool and all but nothing beats a well tailored UI.

So many announcements..so little actual releases..........

Not one mention of N900 or Maemo in this blog. Fishlabs are the developers of Galaxy on Fire 2 FYI.

Well, I found this vid.: :eek:

It will probably look like this, but it will use the keyboard to be played alongside with the accelerometer.
I just hope the big fish labs don't give up on this, I'm willing to give some money to this...

Exactly, and the fact they say " we will make a special version for maemo, with unique graphics " really annoys me, because, maybe I have foresight powers, but I am almost sure they will just pretend not to know maemo in some months... I`d like it to be released, just this... =(
