Personally I'm glad to see this advertisement, but it should be in Buy and Sell.

Re: Battery problem solved!!!
Yeah, this battery is 100% fake. It is simply IMPOSSIBLE to buy ORIGINAL Nokia battery for less than 30-35 €.

I bought a 100% original battery for 15€.

Re: Battery problem solved!!!
Well that actually is not true. On my old N73 I bought a battery for €2 that was actually good. It arrived in original package and everything.
What I learned from ebay was before buying ANYTHING from ebay, ask the seller if the battery, memory card.. pretty much anything is in its original packaging. The chinese are geniuses when it comes to copying but most times they omit to provide packaging. So if an item, however cheap it is, arrives in the original packaging, it will most times be original. |
Re: Battery problem solved!!!
I always think it's possible that real batteries are being run off the same production line in China as Nokia ones but distributed from there by creative individual capitalists. :)

Re: Battery problem solved!!!
Have to say I bought similar, and very pleased with having extra battery with me, swapping is no chore, and i'm never caught short :D

same here, got a desktop battery charger and a spare OEM battery, blends great.

Re: Battery problem solved!!!
The ebay batteries work well as extenders but I still use my original batteries as my main batteries. I bought an original extra battery for the equivalent of €35 in Malaysia. The ebay batteries don't show you proper charge levels whereas the originals do.

Re: Battery problem solved!!!
The Nokia batteries which you can buy from any European Amazon for less than 30-35 € are FAKE. Even the most popular ones. They arrive in proper (original) packaging, they have genuine stickers and everything, but they are still not Nokia's. Check some comments on Amazon/forums.
Or look at it this way. Amazon sells "original" batteries for 10 €, whereas you can buy batteries from nokia.com for 30-40 €. Tell me another product from another vendor that you can buy 3 times cheaper from a different store than vendor's. You can't, it's not possible. It is sad, because these batteries are really worth 10 €, but Nokia sells them for 30€+. I'm not saying that some unofficial ones doesn't come from the same line, but I wouldn't count on that. |
