How to overclock N900?
 

Is there any easy way to overlock N900 from 600 to 800, maybe in german?

- Are there any big risks when i overclock?

Yes, pretty big risks. Only 1 N900 fried for now, but more to come I'm pretty sure. It hasn't been clocked at 600 mhz for nothing.

Desktop CPU's are clocked so much lower then possible too.

hmm thx 4 the link...^^ but i think will not yet overclock it now^^ - i am afraid that the hardware will be damaged after a year or something like that...

Wouldn't say no risks at all. But if you lower the voltages and don't overclock too hard, everything should be fine.

The people who reported fried N900s recanted, so 0 is the number of actually fried N900s here. You could be the first!

I thought to overclock it to 800 (not more) ..hmmm i dont know very well... did u all overclocked since when? for how many days weeks?

That is what I have done, just overclocked to 800. It has been a week or two, I've lost track.

Ive been at 900 Mhz for about 3 weeks now. Everything's fine.
Just lowered the voltages today.

I recomend installing titans maemo25 kernel.

running an 900MHz a week now... I'm in greece temperature today was 27 degrees celcium... no problem for my N900...
at 800 MhZ you have no problem even you live at Sahara ...
