TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I've been using TweetGo (http://www.tweetgo.net/) as a Twitter client for a few days now on my N810 (it was designed for N900 but since it's a webapp it works great on any NIT I would assume).
I love the dark theme. Got two questions though; 1) Is it possible to have the status bar on top "locked in" so that it scrolls down with you as you go down the page, and 2) I launch this from my Personal Launcher application - is there a way to have it start up always in full-screen (mine defaults to minimized size for any web page I go to)? Great looking application, thanks! |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I love this, works a treat but since yesterday I cant get on it. Is anyone else having the same problem?
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Down for me as well. Seeing a server / error.
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Quality web app, hope it gets fixed! This is how I'd love to see a native app on the N900, simple and stylish!

Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I stumbled upon this quote from the developer:
"There is a bug, that if you hit the update button without entering any text in the text area above you will get this message: "Server Error in '/' Application. Status text must contain at least one character" For now, just make sure to enter a status update before clicking the button. We are working on a new version that fixes this bug and adds many features, but it is still a couple weeks away from being done! " |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Yay its back for me. Thank goodness. Its so easy to use and so functional. I miss gravity so much on the n900 and this is the only thing that has even come anywhere near.

Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Still broken for me...
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I did an update before using it as per your previous post silvermountain and although tweetgo wasn't working immediately, later on it came back. Might be worth just trying to post a tweet and see if you can get it back that way.

Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Oh anyway don't get too excited, its gone again!
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I sent the developer a message today.
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I am not getting the server error any more on TweetGo.net but when i click on "More" at the bottom of the page nothing happens and I see an error message saying 'something went wrong, try refreshing' - which doesn't do anything.
This is truly the best Twitter app I've come across so far and it sure doesn't hurt that it's a pure web app - I just hope some of the bugs gets worked out :) |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Same here this morning.
Did you hear anything back from the developer? |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I get the error when I select certain lists. Agree with people here, this is by far the best and most useable Twitter app for the N900, simply beacuse of List support.
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Absolutely the best client for N900. Simple, clean interface, with complete features set.
Love it. |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I'm the developer of tweetgo.net - so sorry for the downtime over the last couple days. Issues with the ever changing twitter API :)
Everything should be fixed now, I just pushed out the last couple needed changes! |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I can confirm that, running perfectly on my N810 and looking great as always.
Thanks for a super webapp! |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Not only on the N900, but also on the "home-PC"
Got it open almost all day, love the simple layout ! |

I do really like that I was able to delete Mauku/Witter completely from my tablet though. This looks much better AND gives me more precious space :) |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
So pleased this morning that it was working a treat again.
Great app. Big thanks. I use it on my desktop at home as well. |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
-- whoops --
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
TweetGo is a great twitter client for me, work absolutely amazing and it is very fast, itīs a kind app what i want for my n900 like a real app install on device
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
i always get an error when searching using a hash tag. For example searching "n900" works but "#n900" doesnt.

Confirmed. Searching also gives me an error. |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I get the same error when using the hashtag.
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
anyone having problems logging in since one or two days?
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Nope, logging in seems fine but I still got the issue with searches on #terms not working,
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
o_O ok wondering why I have some problems then.
anyway any chance that the app doesn't block the whole device while the blue circle is spinning? I can put every other app in background while doing something, except TweetGo. :-/ or is it just because of my login problems?! |

Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
yepp via Safari.
I checked the password so that isn't the problem. It also work with Fenec on the N900. |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Then nooo idea.. clear cookies/history and try again? :)
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I think you are using 'tweego' and not 'tweeTgo.net.
I have tried tweego and there is a blue circle spinning but there isn't on tweetgo. I've just this second woke up so if I've got the total wrong end of the stick I apologise! |
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
the time stamps on the tweets are also inaccurate. on a post i just wrote it says it was posted 6 hours ago...
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
I am seeing everything with '7 hours ago' time stamp.
|
Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
not being able to search on hash tags is a show-stopper for me

Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Lovely web interface, especially in portrait more and so easy to use!
One question - does it support geotagging or if not, is this a feature that could be requested (if so I request it!) BW Tom |

Re: TweetGo - brilliant little web app
Sorry, do you mean yes geotagging is already a feature or yes it is a feature for a future release?
