How many times do you check the maemo.org forum a day?
 

i check it 10 + a day. my gilfriend is getting mad because i am on the phone all the time . please respond so i can show her its normal .

It's perfectly normal. She checks the mirror, you check the phone, everything is fine.

I feel like I am addicted. I rarely do post but keep reading all the time in the forum. and I got a bad habit of laying in bed right before i sleep and visit forums.

I've been on this site since getting my n900 and its down to the good folk here and the advice they've been able to give me that I can use the phone at all. this is an awesome site and a great forum for info gathering. my wife gets really mad too

It's such a fast forum and threads get so large that it's hard to go back and pick up what you've missed if you're gone for too long. I check it every half hour xD

I guess you are not the only one having a pissed GF or Wife :D . My wife asks me the same thing. Whats inside this site ? I say, you would not understand. Its the wiki for my N900 :)

This is the first site that I log in, when I am connected to net. I use it quite often and quite regularly.

At least 5 times a day. Want to stay current and don't want to be late for that pr1.2 update so I can complain once I get it and bemoan Nokia, once more, for making bad products. I type most of my posts from my N900 willy-nilly style- like this one.

That is perfectly normal. I easily come on Maemo Talk 10+ times a day

In the same boat dude, my GF gets mad too. But things are always ultimately ok because she knows she can always get my attention instantly lol

I check 5-10 times a day. When you think about it, it's really not that often... I think more weight should be put on how LONG each of those visits are :)

I am a noob, and am overwhelmed by a lot of the threads and their advanced user nature... but I am still learning a lot :)

Normally at least 5 times a day.

But now 10-15 times a day - because of (hopefully) launching of PR 1.2.......

Too often, but I've reduced it a bit by:

1) Subscribing to email notifications of the posts that I an insterested in.
2) Adding the newly posted topics to my feed reader.

minimum of 10 for the maemo site and 20 for the pr1.2 thread... my maths may be wrong though :P

About 5 times a day.....when no one is looking. Sometimes I wait until there is no one in the house..

I check it 3 times a day during the week. As soon as I get into work I open it and it stays on for my entire shift. Only really interrupted when a manager walks past or I get a call. Then on the toilet when I get home and finally for about half an hr before I sleep (unless I find something I want to try and then end up staying awake to stupid o'clock!

I love this forum, everyone is so helpful and informative and information moves along so quickly. I dont know how I'm gonna cope when I'm in the wilderness next weekend!

I check it 4 or 5 times a day, but I got my wife addicted to Blocks "Tetris" on my N900 so she can't complain. Show your girl friend some of the super cool things you can do with it, maybe she will insist on getting her own, and you will have a N900 junkie for a partner. LOL :cool:

i tried .she really dislikes the phone . she was playing killer birds but never picked up again . thanks gus for all the comments but she says "why don't they let there girlfriends comment how they feel about the phone ". i just can't win .

I generally check it about 5-6 times a weekday. Maybe once a weekend. Since the N800, this site has been more useful then just about any other source. So if you are into these maemo based devices, there is no substitute.

Since I've bought my N900 in January I'm checking the forum at least 10 times a day. Great forum with loads of usefull staff!

i check it alot.

i also check it before turning my mac off before i go to bed, then check it on my N900 when im in bed.

its a very good way of putting off my work... probably for the worse though!
