[Solved] Can't Access Ovi Store with newest firmware.
 

When I go to the Ovi Store on my N900. I get a message on the site saying Upgrade your Nokia N900 to enter Ovi Store. I have the latest firmware! Has anybody else had this problem? Or could someone please tell me what to do. I want to install Angry Birds, is it available anywhere else? Also when I did once get on the site I received the links but couldn't install the apps/games because it told me I need to update/upgrade. But as I said I definitely have the latest firmware and have even tried clicking on update at the app manager. Any help gratefully received. Thanks in advance. @C00L

[Solution] Uninstall Hide User Agent application.

Could be caused due to PR1.2 about to get released?

EDIT: I have no idea why it's giving you that message, (unless you have an older firmware), mine is working here.. I can access OVI store from my N900 with no problems...

Month(s)? This firmware came out last month.. I believe 18/3/2010..

Anyways, well try to wait till PR1.2 since it's going to be out anytime soon and reflash your device with it.. don't wait for the UK variant to come out; since it might take a while like last time..

Yes Months. I had this problem before and after the last firmware update.

Did you update OTA? If so, when PR1.2 comes out do a full flash of the firmware...

Are you hiding the User Agent? That'll mess up the checks the Ovi store does.

I had the same problem like you cool. I installed the application "Hide User Agent" and went to "settings-->Hide User Agent" and clicket on "Remove" After that I was able to acces the Ovi store. Thanks a lot ;-)

If you are using Hide User Agent you can also just use firefox to access ovi store.

Thanks all esp Rob1n. I uninstalled Hide User Agent and it's fine now. Didn't use it anyway. Thanks alot. BTW I have a great n900 list on twitter with 22 accounts followed all the maemo news u need. @C00L
